Tire Noise
I have the Pirelli eufori 225 45 r 17's...the car only has 5500 mi....My question is...I am getting a buh buh buh buh buh at speed. the dealer came and got it and said both front tires were low on air. Well after they brought it back, I still have the noise...they came and got it again and they said that since I drove the car on low air in cold temperature it made the tire out of round....Fuck that...these are run flats...70mph on NO AIR...Has anyone else had this problem? Please help...I am going to rip this dealer when BMW calls and asks how my service experience was...

I had the same problem. Just took the car to the dealer on Friday. He said the same thing. He said the sound would continue as the tire are 'cut' as he put it. I told him that I'll drive for a couple of weeks and if the sound is still there, I'm bringing the car back. I did notice that with the additional air, the sound has lessened. Lesson learned, check tire pressure often.

This is BS. You need to rip your dealer a new a**hole. Ultimately, the tire pressures should have been checked when you bought the car. Drive on it for one more week, if you still get the noise, take it in and demand new tires. If you don't get them, call the general manager of the dealer and tell him you're calling BMW NA to make an official complaint. Trust me - you'll get new tires
