I was wondering if anybody can tell me how hard is it to install the exhaust and can i do in my own home. Do i need to weld? or is there clamps. I know that i need to cut. thanks

you can cut, and clamp, but i heard it tends to leak.

other option is to bring it to a muffler shop to have it welded on. i'm sure they would be able to do it under $100.

on my e34, i had to do the same with the supersprint. muffler shop charged me $50 to install and weld.

The E90 Eisenmann exhaust comes with a clamp however I always recommend our customers weld it on.

Btw guys/gals I just got word from Eisenmann that a full cat-back system will be out very soon

Lightbulb

OK here are some pics that might help you to understand...

stock exhaust:

stock exhaust cut off:

new exhaust "CLAMPED" on:

the new exhaust piping over laps the stock and is "clamped" on.. and the hangers prevent it from falling off...
