What do I think?

Well I believe it's pretty pointless to put a European plate on an American car.

Not my cup of tea. If it were a vanity plate with some funny/cleaver message, I would understand...but still I would only put it on at meets.

This is the equivalent of Japanese car owners in America putting the license plate on the bottom right/left side of their front bumper.

wow, a lot of hate on here. i agree with getting rid of the american plate holder behind it. if you like the plate on there, its all you. i guess you had that plate made somewhere because it isn't authentic, it is missing the state seal. also HH is for hohenfels i believe, which is in bavaria. not sure if you care.

this is like you buying a white tshirt and painting on it "I was in Paris" and in small print "no, actually I wasn't I just wrote this myself" and then wearing it to impress your friends hoping they kind of dont see the small print!

I mean this is what it looks like to someone who doesn't get the whole idea. I think you only see a US style license plate locally on american made cars that have no space for long euro plates - and as result there are US spec plates made like on this pic.

This is real license plate btw, not fake one. So my advice, take it off asap. Since you can fuly remove all of them and have no plate at all, I complete fail to understand why would you do this unless tehre are reasons you haven't told us about.

the reason some put their license plates on the left or right side is because they dont want to block the air flowing into the IC, and some just do it for looks...
