Vaccumm Lines
Looking to change out all the vaccumm lines in my 335i. I am 100% certain, that they have never been changed before. My car is a 2007 FBO, so doing this as preventative maintenance. Any reccomendations where I can take my car too to have them changed out? Anyone ever get this done around the gta? If so how much? and how long did it take?
Thanks |

I hear you man. I know you can purchase the silicone lines from ECS tuning though.

Any bmw shop will be able to do this for you and they will probably love you for it as it is an easy buck for them.
call one of the following: RMP, BMWizard, Columbus Auto |

Did mine about a month ago. This is what I purchased locally (15ft) and this was DIY. I picked up just off lakeshore.
http://www.germansupply.com/home/cus...91&cat=&page=1 The only issue was getting to the front and rear waste-gates but with come maneuvering you will get it. Once your done you will feel a difference -B |

Easy buck for them, and ease of mind for myself as I dont have the skillz to remove, amd install. Thanks for the reccomendations on shops. Heard great things about RMP, and I've been to Columbus, but I was l've moved further out east. Will give Columbus a call, and make the trek. But will NEVER let that "Wizard" touch my car again...extrmemely arrogant, with absolutely, no courtesty, or customer service. I brought my car to the "so called" wizard, to change the thermastat. He was a total prick, rude, and arrogant AFTER ignoring me for 15 min, as he worked on a car in his gargage...smh. After he changed my thermastat my car would not start, and I.had to leave it there. He had my car for 4 days. Finally he got it to start. Handed me the keys, as I drove out of his garage, it stalled, and died. He got the a couple guys from the busniess next to him to push it back into his garage. While he did that, he kept telling the 2 guys how my car is a piece of shit, total garbage, total junk (all his words) kept my composure...left it with him again..next day I go to see how things are going with my car, and he brushes me off that he's busy while I am standing there. 15, 20, 30min pass. He does not say a word to me. So I walk up to him, tell him, give me my keys. I call a tow truck take it to another Indy...who found it in less the 20min that it was the fuse...smh. lesson learned, NEVER take your car to them "BMW Wizard" in the GTA

Yes!! Paradigm!!! Leslie and Serhan (no longer with Paradighm) where the omes who fixed the "wizard" horrible workmanship I forgot about this..... Thanks for mentioning his shop!! Its been almost 3 years, I forgot, and Leslie moved paradighm. Anyway, its been fixed! based on tje codes, and the fact that I have nramd new oem turbos, my Indy looked under the engine cover. The Vaccumm lines located under the engine cover were really bad. My Indy (who is insanely busy, which is why I was asking around for another indy) out of the blue, called me up and told me to bring my car in asap as he has time. He changed the lines, and my car pulls harder, with NO limpmode. So to anyone who may have a limp mode problem with an older N54 Engine, its a good idea to place the Vaccumm lines. So, be changed both Vanos selenoids, and replaced the vaccumm lines from the cansiter, and all the lines under the engine cover.
Thanks to everyone for the help, and jnput! |
