Okay, I'm not the best at videos (never really made one, i wonder if it tells ) at least it gives you an idea. I appreciate to some people its telling them how to suck eggs! but to others it will help. All the software is available free and the cables are 10 pound off ebay, they are worth it even if you just want to read and reset errors (saving you money as this is the BMW workshop software), the cable can be used for many different things but most use for coding/flashing.
In my honest opinion is it vastly better.?..no. Some non BMW cars i have driven with earlier DSG boxes etc have improved quite a bit from a reflash, but in my opinion the BMW EGS is already very good so hard to improve on! The old BMW 6 box auto's were crap!. For me the MPG is a bonus. I had my German friend do this (you know who you are Danke Sehr!), he doesnt want much but appreciates donations as he has baby - PM me if you want to know his name. Hey thanks for this.
In the last part it says in sports and stick to left it shifts earlier but it still showing D1 etc rather than S1 to show you are in sports. Earlier in the video it does show S1 etc so a little confusing Sully |

Nice video.
You do mean sport mode uses 8th, not 7th? I have all the kit. Used it for coding. Do you have any detailed instruction on how to do this in E-sys ? Its worth doing for 8th in sports alone, which really annoys me. |

Hi yes it does change to "Sx" just as stock so don't worry, however it's difficult to get a video of that unfortunately but it is smoother and quicker. I wasn't just remarking if you do put in sports+.

I have done coding but this on a different level, it technically doesnt exist for a 435d so need recalculate TAL/SVT etc and fake ID - its something i wouldn't attempt at my current knowledge as i say i got my german friend to do it for me. Last edited by Ajs_435d; 09-18-2017 at 01:05 PM.. |

That is a good effort. Fair play. You just need a killer soundtrack and a view of your smug face as you nail it past 100 mph. You're on a private road right? Or on the autobahn? Not a little village?
