So atm i have an iphone 6s but will be upgrading to the iphone x when it comes out.

My car is a 2010 e90 lci with pro nav (cic) but i dont have the usb in the armrest meaning i will have no way of playing music as the 3.5mm jack is not now on the new iphones.

How do i go about getting the usb under the armrest?

You can just turn off the handsfree part. It plugs into your Aux and lets you use Bluetooth A2DP (higher quality) to wirelessly stream your music.

Once setup you never have to touch or see it again

Looks good the problem i have is ive got the bmw headrest dvd players and that uses the 12v socket to run them and theres no room for a splitter in there

Hmm thats a tough one. Do you not have a 12v in the ash tray under the centre console? You could plug the power in there and then wiretuck it to under the armrest

No it was manufactured 02/10

Im not looking to spend fortunes probably getting rid of the car after xmas maybe even before

When I had the e90 I was quoted between £750 - £1,000 (dependant on how long the coding took) to have the armrest USB fitted by BMW. 'BMW' is not synonymous with reasonable pricing

I would fit it myself and get it coded probably would only cost £50 for coding

The newer iPhones come with an adapter piece so you can still use the aux plug.

And seeing as you are possibly getting rid of the car soon that is by far the cheapest option. FREE!!
