Eibach vs ACS vs KW

I'm looking to replace my current springs on my adaptive suspension.

I know many people go for the ACS, but I have seen Eibach been mentioned here a few times. And I have seen KW on sale for about the same price as the Eibach springs.

Apart from the lowering aspect, is there much difference (as far as handling abilities goes) between the cheaper springs (Eibach & KW, around £180) and the more expensive ones (ACS, around £310)?

I'm picking my new car up tomorrow and getting ACS Springs fitted at Rossiters before heading up to Scotland ..... I'll definitely be able to give you a decent opinion then & we might still manage that meet up!

For 1st hand experience I currently have the eibach springs fitted, and find them very good, I'm possibly 1 of the few that have also had acs springs on the same car so have experienced both.
As far as I understand eibach manufacture the springs for acs but there are visual differences between them, so they are not the same springs, so its more a question who knows best, eibach who manufacture the springs or acs who get eibach to manufacture to there spec.
I found the eibach runs a little higher than the acs which if running stock bump stops is no bad thing if you value ride quality. Imo the body roll is slightly more with the eibach, but think that is because the acs rolls onto the bump stops quicker with the lower ride height, but as an overall package using the stock edc dampers the eibachs are excellent, if the warranties work for you i'd have no hesitation recommending the eibachs, the price is also very reasonable!

R330dx Excellent, thank you for your feedback. What made you change from ACS to Eibachs?

Hehehe! Brilliant!

I'm just thinking, if the Eibachs will do the same job (or 8/10ths) as the ACS, then it should do me fine.

We sell both. AC Schnitzer spend more time on R&D and testing so will be a bit better handling, and are a bit lower on this model. They also get better warranty support and dealers are more relaxed about customers having AC Schnitzer on their BMWs than other brands, but there is nothing wrong with Eibach.

I will second that Lorcan.

Just fitted the Eibachs..was woreiwd about fitting aftermarket kit to the car but very glad to report that my fears where not needed. Ride on the Ps4's is sublime, drives like a BMW now..with 4 wheel drive and sub 5 sec 0-60. Very happy.

I fitted Eibach pro kit and few other members and happy to report that very happy with ride and height is equal all around , not harsh ride at all.

I would recommend Eibach springs but your decision in the end mate

I've just been out with McBeemer in his F31 (with ACS), as I was mulling over the ACS springs.

I'm completely sold.

Took his car out locally and the improvement is laudable and inspired a lot more confidence in corners. The improvement in the steering accuracy is what impressed me the most. There was a small roundabout where I did a full loop back and the car was stuck like glue and it felt effortless too.

That's brilliant, no wonder it's a very popular option.
