TDI CRTD2 Vs CRTD4 tuning box

I recently upgraded my TDI CRTD2 (twin Channel) tuning box to the triple channel CRTD4. After a couple of weeks here is what I have noticed -

I can notice a small increase in power, more noticeable in the mid to high rev range.
TDI originally quoted the twin channel as 370/700 (verified at a meet once) and the triple has always been quoted as 377/730. Now i notice they are quoting the twin channel one at 356bhp, which is probably to sell the triple channel one as there is a higher margin. So the power increase i notice seems to correspond with and extra 7bhp/30nm (approx).

The power curve must be better, as I definitely notice that the power does not drop of before the auto change like the twin channel.

No noticeable difference in responsiveness as it was lightening fast before.

This seems to correspond with what others such as @JLR1969 have seen when going from a twin channel to triple channel box.

The addition of the cam sensor better allows the box to manage the increase in rail pressure across the rev range for a 'better' tune. Certainly they don't seem to suffer with any fuel cut issues at higher states of tune, which I know affected 35d owners running Bluespark boxes.

With these now on the market it would seem like a no-brainer for those not wanting to go for a full remap for whatever the reason.
