slow puncture

I have a slow leak on my nearside front. Roughly 0.2 bar every couple of days.
Whats my best option? Take to BMW or go to a tyre shop?
Only thing I'm thinking is, if its leaking TPM then I want a genuine one fitted.
I know the tyre is not warrantied, but surely the sensor is?

Is it run flat or normal tyre? ATS will repair a run flat tyre if it hasn't been 'run on flat'

Could possibly be a hairline crack to the inside of the wheel rim, best examine it carefully to check...

Careful if you go to BMW

Just go to your friendly tyre place and get them to look at it, they probably won't even charge to look. Or take the whel off clean it had have a good look for your self. see if any cracks in the inner rim, inspect tyre all round for nails/screws in the tread, remove valve cap and put some soapy water around the valve and see if any bubbles appear, then you'll know?

I suspect BMW will charge you for a replacement tyre. As above ATS or Indy will puncture repair run flats, assuming nothing in sidewall etc.

Thanks everyone.

Checked the valve with soapy water, no leaks there.
Waiting for my new trolly jack and puck to arrive. Will then take the wheel off and check for cracks, but I think I would loose air quicker than I am! And the tyre for visible damage/foreign objects, before taking to a tyre shop.

Steve

Oh, its a run flat!
