New Car Collection Today

Not the best day for collecting the car but here goes.

I've just taken delivery of my new 335d M Sport in stunning San Marino Blue. What started me off was Daftasabrush with his F31, and I've been obsessed since then. It is a stunning colour in real life. Unfortunately, my rubbish phone camera and the Scottish weather have conspired against me.

It wasn't too bad. Vardy, up here, seem to have a relationship with the guy who sorts out the individual styling and have build slots already available. They also have a few stock cars too in SMB, both F30's and F31. However, it did take a bit longer than normal and I couldn't get the Shadow Edition, I'd have been waiting another two to three months before they got round to painting a shadow edition for me.

Don't let dealers spoof you with upwards of 3K for SMB. I got it for £1600+VAT

The actual collection was a but surreal. The guy who did the handover sort of underplayed it a bit. There was a short video, in a connecting room, then the doors opened with flashing lights, and all sorts, to reveal the car. It must, somehow, connect the the car because the headlights and tail lights we flashing all over the place too and the car was still locked.

I got a BMW coffee mug thing that actually fits inside the cup holders and a fairly nicely weighted pen too. (plus a brochure for more bits if I wanted them)

No, I'd already squeezed blood out of a stone. To be honest he just said he'd fuel it up and only today I noticed £40 on the bill.
