Just received my production number!

Just received my production number!

Now the waiting game begins. Expecting delivery early November...we shall see.

X3 M40i $54,300 $54,300

C1M Phytonic Blue Metallic $550
ZDA Driving Assistance $900
ZDB Driving Assistance Plus $1,700
ZPP Premium $2,950
4HA Front and Rear Heated Seats $350
ZPX Executive w/ Black Vernasca Leather w/ Blue Contrast Stitching $2,550
4K7 Aluminum Rhombicle Trim $NC
22Z 21" 718M P-RFT $1,900
2VF Adaptive M Suspension $700
300 Space Saving Spare $150
688 Harman Kardon Sound $875

Destination & Handling $995

Total MSRP $68,110 $67,920

I am getting $1,500 off MSRP. I think I have been spot on with estimating the pricing of the X3 M40i (in previous posts) and this pretty much guarantees that the X3M will be under 80K loaded...which will make it the best SAV in class...where BMW should be.

It may be a little ridiculous but I was disappointed that I could not get 4FH Ventilated Front Seats with MANL Black Vernasca Leather w/ Blue Contrast Stitching. It was explained to me that it is already offered in option MAH7 and most likely to cut costs. Since I did not want all black interior and I had a Mocha Interior for almost 7 years...I am OK with the change.

Other than the possibility of an all black rim option...I am all set. I have about a week to make any changes if I want.

Sounds great, Kozzi! I'll have to check with our folks re: the production number as we confirmed our order with them a few weeks ago and haven't received such yet. Exciting time for sure, and look forward to some great photographs from everyone in the near future.

I got my production number as well. Seems there was an issue adding the tow hook, but now everything is a go. Just waiting for my production week, so I can schedule PCD.

I should be getting my production week today. I am also considering PCD. The only difficulty would be is driving back up to NY during the break-in period.

I have done PCD twice, from Spartanburg to Texas. No issues. Well, technically I did have my oil-fill cap come off because it wasn't tightened properly when they did my 1200 mile service.

4FH requires ordering MAFO, MAH7 or MAMU

MAFO Canberra Beige/Black Vernasca Leather w/contrast stitching/piping
MAH7 Black Vernasca Leather w/contrast stitch/piping
MAMU Mocha Vernasca Leather w/contrast stitching/piping

If you order the seats in MANL Black Vernasca Leather w/blue contrast stitching/piping, you can't get the ventilated seats.

Weird. So what's the difference between MAH7 and MANL? Both are black leather, but one has blue stitching, the other has ???

I think it's silver or white. I've been going back and forth but I have white stitching on black on my SQ5 and I'd like to do something different with the blue.

Same issue. I have had Mocha for 2 cycles now and I am looking for a change. Black with blue stitching looks really good.

FYI...If you currently lease an F25, BMW is offering an additional $1,500 off. Make some deals folks.

Funny. I've had black, black, now Sakhir (red). Looking to try out Mocha + Fineline Cove matte wood. And I swore I'd never have a wood interior in a car!!!

That's a nice combo. I think you will be quite pleased. I also swore off any other color other than white, but I just couldn't resist this blue.

I am currently with an Alpine White car now, but also ready to make the change to the blue.

How/why did you decide on the 21" wheels? They definitely look good, but I am nervous about the ride quality, limited tire selection, and potential weight penalty of these.

I think it's BS that this is for X3 owners only. No loyalty credit for the rest of us?

I don't know if anyone on here is stationed in Germany, but my local authorized Military Auto Sales dealer is offering 10% off MSRP including options. I've yet to put in an order as I'm waiting to attend this weekend's Frankfurt Auto Show to get a glimpse of the M40i in person.

Back in 2011, I was in a F25 SAP with staggered 19 309s and I thought the ride quality was fine. My current F25 has staggered 20 310Ms and the ride quality IMO is even better. I know I would be taking a chance on the 21s but they look really good. The grey accents work well with the SAV. Anyone know the weight penalty? I would prefer the 20s if they were black.

I think you have to be returning a BMW lease for the loyalty credit. I could be wrong. Do you plan on turning in your M235xi for a G01 M40i?

I hate being OCD. Making the phone call every thirty minutes and saying "Vehicle Production Status" and "Production Order Number" is getting tiring.
