OBDII Can Flap Module with MPPSK?

After driving my 340i for a couple of months, I realized that I also want to hear the MPPSK exhaust note in Comfort Mode (Instead of only in Sport mode).

I was wondering if I installed an OBDII Can Flap Module for my 340i, will my exhaust sound like how it sounds in Sport Mode?

I know that you can configure the Sport mode to chassis only, but I would like to have an option of the shifting levels of Comfort Mode (For the days that I want to save gas, haha), with the MPPSK Exhaust note. Thanks!

Yes - but note some have stated they can never return the function back to factory after applying the setting. Not sure if that was fixed but more than one have said they can no longer control it via the drivability modes. Its always on OR always quiet..

The CANflap can only control the flapper while pluged in. When unplugged the car reverts to factory operation.

Some have stated they can not revert with the JB4 connected - So if you want to keep the JB4 how to get back to true stock function... the discussion kind of died since anyone with a MPPSK loves conveniences of its stock form - and I am not willing to experiment..

They are confused then.. Because all the JB4 is doing is sending the command for "5 second diagnostic test" open every 5 seconds. It can only do that when attached and that setting is enabled within the JB4.

I have personal experience with this and the MPPSK.
Once the valve is opened by using the CanFlap feature, one cannot revert back to normal "factory operation" without restarting the vehicle. In other words, if you open the valves then decide to close them with the JB4, they will not open up again switching into your Sport and Sport +. You will have to restart your vehicle. This all from my experience at least.
