I'm also paying about $1200 a year. Less per month than on my E36 M3. Be sure to tell your company about BMW assist. It can track the car if it's stolen, it gave me a 25% discount on comprehensive.

Was quoted $1,630/year but since I am insuring two cars, I will pay $1,350/year with NJ Manufacturers Insurance.

Are you serious?

Are you making payments for your car too?

Some of the posted insurance rates seem awfully low......you guys have collision coverage too?

There is something weird going on with BMW M3 Auto Insurance Rates.

If you look up the rates for a M3 Sedan in LA/CA they are very low.
Look up the rate for the M3 Coupe and it is around $5000 a year.

Typical Male Single over 30 years old...clean record.

Both cars are 400 HP over $65K and will cost a fortune to repair in any accident.

The Collision Coverage is the killer.

Anyone else get surprised when they went to insure a M3 Sedan and the quote jumped to $4000-5000 versus the quick online estimate < $2000?

Cheers,
