Debadging Question

Thinking about partially debadging my M235i (specifically the M badges on the fenders). I know how to do it, but my car is now 15 months old and I'm wondering if there will be any subtle colour difference because the car's been exposed to weather for over a year.

Any ideas?

I debadged a 3 year old car that I bought once and it was fine.

Thanks ... I've always thought that the M on the sides is a bit poser.
