Spare Tire Scenario

If I have 225/40/18 (front) and 255/35/18 (rear) and I blow a flat on one of the tires. Would I possibly be able to run a spare for a short drive home // to the tire shop?

A spare such as 205/55/16 and going no more than 60km/h going a short distance for repair/replacement.

225/40/18 vs 205/55/16 = 0.8% rolling diff.
255/35/18 vs 205/55/16 = 0.4% rolling diff.

Running on xdrive!

I am just curious if it is possible. Or is the only resort is a tow truck?

As long as the 16" wheel clears your brakes, it should be fine.
