Week 35 should be starting on 28th august so I wonder how it went to production on 4th august. I'm asking this because mine was confirmed to be built in week 33

Week 35

I must have gotten bumped up to week 33, and was never informed about the change. Very happy about it though!

I bought the M2 from BMW of Sudbury where I had purchased my 2014 435xi M Sport. I had been talking with the dealership and they called me the day before Thanksgiving, last year, and said they had an M2 allocation that I could have. I went to Sudbury the day after Thanksgiving and while they did have an allocation, they also had the Mineral Gray M2 which another customer had ordered but could not take delivery on! I bought it immediately and took delivery on Saturday. Absolutely the best car I have ever had!!! Let me know if you would like to see, I'm sure we can make that happen.

Yes, I would like to see your car. I bought mine at South Shore a couple of months ago, I was test driving a Porsche Cayman, and Cayman GTS down the street, but just too pricey. On the way home I stopped at BMW SS and asked if they had any allocations and they said yes, and I took the # 1 spot. It should be completed 8/20/17. I ordered white 6 MT Executive Package. I currently have a 15 228 M Sport with Track Package, Estoral Blue, 8 speed auto, which is an amazing car. I have tracked it at Palmer Motor Speedway 4 times last year. I allocated that car in at BMW SS in 2015.

How did you go with a call to your dealer..?

I was scheduled for a Week 34 build, but a call to the dealer confirms that the car entered production on Tuesday (August 8th). The dealer thinks its in the paintshop from the status on his screen.

Just speculation on my part, but maybe the week is when production completes..?

Either way, its great to see that things are moving ahead!

I think it's when production starts. My production is week 36 and delivery to the dealer is week 40 (France). That would make one month for production and transport.

Mine is in "assembly" what ever that means . I think the next week (the scheduled week 33) would be ready. Afterwards the long wait of delivery starts. Expected delivery is second week of September

The 'production week' is when it ends but, that said, 4 weeks to deliver to France seems long.
