X-drive and lowering

Does anyone have any ideas on whether or not the new X-Drive will impact if you can add aftermarket coilovers with a lowered right height? Does the current X-Drive allow the vehicles that have it to be lowered?

My 335 xDrive has been a very happy lowered car for about 160,000 km.
Besides an alignment, the only thing you need to pay attention to is the headlight elevation adjustment sensor. It doesn't fit any more when the ride height changes and will need some modification.

Good to know. I wasn't sure if the extra drive components in the front would interfere with ride-height adjustments.
