Need suggestion please, bend strut
took my car out for an alignment and it seem like my front passenger strut is bent. the guy say to replace it with oem bilstein would be around $320 for parts and labor. so i wanted to see if i should repair it or replace with coil overs since i'll be out $320 for only the strut, should i might as well buy a complete kit? I'm looking for ride quality since i commute about 100miles daily. also i have only about $1500 to spend right now until christmas bonus lol.
thank you for your input! |

To put this into perspective: $320 for the replacement of one (1) strut, installed
OR Replacing all four (4) with coilovers, installed will run you roughly $1500+ The second option will consume your entire budget. If you do choose the coilover route, don't be cheap and do it right the first time around. |

Agree, if you're going to really do it, save up for a set of four high quality versus just 'what's possible now' financially. Plus it's no fun going back 'in there' imho. Also, if one went, what are the age/condition of the others versus getting four great new ones.
