Why do I always have to reset the volume level when starting the car? I'm the only driver, use only one of the keys.

That's just the way it is. I have coded my default volume to 40% instead of 25% on startup which works much better for me.

Wait, your volume resets to something lower on startup?
I'm looking for that exact feature - I often have the radio cranked because of good tunes, but I don't like to be blasted by volume the minute I start the car.

My M2 seems to remember the last volume I set, even if it's rather loud. I want to set a default startup volume... is this something I can code with ESYS?

My car retains the last volume setting from when I last shut down my car and does not reset to a preset value each time. Odd??

I do manually turn the volume down each time I'm pulling into the garage because I don't like to start the car with the volume blasting if I forgot to turn it down the night before?? Interesting.

Factory setting is to reset to 25%, but it can easily be coded to retain up to whatever desire percentage is desired.
