Have been offered a 2016 M3 Steering wheel, would this fit straight onto my 2014 m235?

Nice! Where did you get the glossy carbon fiber trim? I've been looking to replace mine, but I don't like the dry look.

It's the same wheel in thickness and diameter. The only difference is the division in the lower spoke area.

mmm was bugging me.....so to clear up lots of questions, the M steering wheel with split spoke from M3/4/2 (all the same exact wheel, i checked with bmw parts) .

TO CONFIRM - the wheel on my car now is off a 2017 M4. It is NOT bigger in overall diameter than the standard M235 wheel if anything when i place together as per my pics and line up perfect all sides the M4 wheel i have on now is in fact a TINY bit smaller than the old m235 one. (the shiny wheel is my old m235 one) and then i thought well i may as well measure thickness with tape measure, and to be honest, its the same. My new M4 wheel maybe a mm thicker, this could be down to it being brand new. So M4/3/2 wheel slightly smaller in diameter and thickness negligible. Hope that helps.
