Radiator Circuit Cooling
Hey guys.
At my last track day (Carolina Motorsports Park), I noticed the temp on the gauge in between the tach and speedo was rising above normal when I was really pushing the car during a 30-min session and when ambient temps were 100F+. I could feel the car pulling timing to keep temps in line, and if I backed off a lap, temps would come back down to normal. Anyone else experienced this? Any potential solutions? Thanks. |

Yes! I have been working with CSF Racing since November of last year to develop a complete cooling solution for our cars. We are just about done - DCT cooler, Oil cooler, Radiator, and Intercooler. The pricing is going to be awesome and I have been track testing them. They work amazing. I will post a few threads today and tomorrow about them.
I just did a track day at NCM last weekend with the car pulling double duty (5 hrs per day on track) in 105 degree ambient temps with a 116 heat index. The car ran cooler than it did last October at NCM with a 64 ambient. |
