Pre-LCI E90 max wheel size

I am looking to purchase new wheels and am thinking of running a 18x9 ET38 square setup on my pre-lci E90 330i. I am sure it will fit the rears no problem, but I am unsure if it'll clear the struts and/or rub on the front without any modifications. Does anyone know the max front wheel size for pre-lci E90s?

18x9 et30 is ideal so you'll need a spacer around 8mm

9.5 et 33 is what I was running on my pre-lci, I think that's the limit with wheel width without modification
