Navigation question ....

Does anyone know how I can make the Navigation the whole size as the screen ? Right now it's on the side which is fine, but sometimes I like to see the whole map.

I checked the namual and can't find anything, thanks !

i wonder how many RTFM answers u'll get.

do u mean to zoom in/out? just spin ur iDrive knob it'll zoom in/out to show the whole map

there's also a nice option i use is 'list route' or something like that... forgot the exact name, but it'll show u all streets u have to take

No.

The map is available in the assistant window (small window to the right), and also the main control window.

You can have both displayed at the same time, but it won't enlarge and cover the entire display as a single map display .. which is what I think you were asking.

It would be nice if on the left you could have the map in say in direction of travel, and the map on the right in perspective view. Unfortunately its not possible.

Was wondering the same thing (after reading the manual), and it appears you can't do it.

Not supported in perspective view. Would take a fair bit of processing to render all the street names in 3D view, and perform rotation. The CPU isn't up to the job, and would slow the whole thing down.

Best thing to do is in assistant window, just select "current position" so at least you know which road you are on, by name.
