Who does this

I come to my car and see someone messed with my front emblem? You think this is someone being spiteful or some punk kid trying to get emblem off, either way they didn't get much just damaged the emblem.

How do you know it didn't fly off from driving? I had one on my E46 do that, the glue was just old and shrunken and not adhesive anymore.

Or if not then some kid or something probably just thought it'd be cool to have, in which I'd be pretty pissed lol.

Thing is how would the top portion of the emblem just fly off, the chrome plastic was still intact. I would have noticed a problem, I hand wash weekly.

It's happened to me as well. Water seeps in and the glue let's go. The chrome ring is one piece with the part below the actual emblem. Or someone stole it

Well the new emblem arrived. Now I can sleep better. Last thing I want is to play with BMW emblems while prepping for waterfest.

Better keep tabs on your tow hook covers now too

Lol it most likely fell off; especially if you see no pry marks.

The wife's tow hook came off in the car wash she uses. They have very powerful blowers to dry the cars.
