MMP Stage 3 Turbos Install

Hello, my dudes.

I installed my MMP Stage 3 turbos this past weekend.

This was a breeze as I have done plenty N54 turbo installs... I've lost count.

I am also going to be installing:

Twisted Tuning's port meth injection plate.
6x375 ml/min nozzles and a 7th d03 nozzle at CP
AEM controller v2.
Fails safe flow sensor. (AEM)
Wot Box 2 step. NLS.

Current Setup:
· Index 12 Injectors / New HPFP
· NGK 95770 1 step cooler. Gapped to .022
· New Coils- OEM Bosch
· 7th Meth Nozzle D03 – after Intercooler.

Bolt Ons:
· 3.5 Bar n20 TMap.
· 7" FMIC HD VRSF
· SYNAPSE BOV - CHARGE PIPE
· BMW DOWNPIPES CATLESS
· CATLESS EXHAUST - PE MODED
· Hot Side Inlets 2.5” – PCV Vented to Atmosphere
· MMP Outlets 2”

Wheels:

17" Koosei K1's with Hossier DR

Will Tuned by Ken Atkinson himself.

Dyno Coming Soon.

NOTE: removing the radiator support is not necessary when installing turbos - there are other reasons why I decided to remove the radiator support.

They explain power levels on the right in the description using Stage 3 LPFP and PI.

^^^ see the link. above

at the moment the biggest restriction with these turbos is the exhaust manifold. 30psi is about as much as you can get out of these turbos the way they are now due to back pressure....... can't wait for the upgraded manifold.

Don't mean to thread jack, but.
I could not find anything on removing/ replacing the radiator support. Would you mind getting into that a little. Mine is cracked and it looks like a bitch to do. Thank you.

Super easy. no need to remove the fan or the radiation.

Remove bumper-- undo fasteners by the kidney gril-- 2 fasteners on the side through the wheel wells. remove.. make sure your under cover is off as well.

remove bumper. unplug fog lights or park sensor.

now you remove the head lights. 2 fasteners holding the headlight light bracket to the chassis. and one hastener holding the headlight brack you can see it by removing the wheel well plastic covers.

remove the hood latches

then you want to unbolt the impct bar.. unplug you horns - 4 bolts on each side .. and pull that off... then you can simply unbolt the radiator support from the car. 2 bolts on each side by each fender.. and remove.

i wish i had pics for you but i dont have time to go through them and circle the steps..

its super simple. just get in there and get it done.

Thank you for taking the time to explain that. I thought I would have to remove radiator and intercooler also.

Can I ask how you vented you PCV to atmosphere? I'd like to do that rather than run a catch can myself.

It's pretty straightforward. There's no PCV connection on relocated inlets, and it comes with a ginormous hose that you connect to the PCV vent and run down the driver's side of the engine bay.
