Is the install for the new shifter as easy as removing the old one? Confirmed that it fits an E90 M3?

All you have to do is pull the knob straight up and it comes off. I am pretty sure it will fit the M3. If anyone can confirm that would be appreciated. I will search to see if the fitment is the same.

There is a short shifter knob specifically for the M? I wasn't aware. It looks exactly like my 03' 330i ZHP shifter knob (with a different shape boot). I'd like to see some better pictures, if that possible.
