M240i Conv. AC stays on even when turned off

Anyone had a situation (it may have been that I've set something up incorrectly/by mistake) where even with the AC button off, there is cold air blowing our of your vents?

I live in Atlanta so it's hot out and you can feel it's definitely cold air.

I press the AC button, leave the fan speed as it was and for a while after it still blows cold air. It went away after a looooooong while today and started blowing normal air. I am assuming it's just the remaining cold air in the system but sometimes this happens at startup without having had the AC on....

Mine does this too. I think it might have something to do with the Auto setting. It seems to turn off more readily when the Auto is off.

I remember fiddling with this shortly after I got my M235i. The AC seems to run for a while after being turned off, not sure what's up with that. I finally gave up and stopped worrying about it and I just use auto all the time now.
