This will probably break some hearts, but the M2 I'm getting is no track queen, she's going to be a work horse, and she'll be worked like a b$%tch.
I run a bar, and am frequently grabbing supplies, cases of liquor or fruit, and occasionally kegs too...! So today I had an overly large load, and had a case of limes sitting on the passenger seat for the 8 mile drive from our produce vendor to the bar, with the 'buckle seatbelt' tone going off continuously. Is there any way to code it off? Or is it a hard-wired safety feature? |

Yes you can code off the seat belt warning chime. I believe there is a hard wire you can mess with but coding should be the better choice. I coded off driver side only as I'm always aware of the seat belt. However my passengers sometimes may forget so I left that side on.

I never had a situation where my drivers side chime would be annoying, the passenger side though can be a bit annoying if you have something heavy in the seat. |

The chime is annoying. A very simple solution if you don't want to bother coding this is to fasten the seatbelt. It will stay out of the way of any items in the seat and the chime goes away.

I just coded off my drivers side alarm yesterday. Soooo much better. There are a lot of times I start the car before buckling up, and may play with the navy or radio for a minute or so. I wear my belt religiously. Indid leave the dash warning light on.
OP, get the app and wifi obd2 plug and you'll be able to code this and a ton of other cool stuff. I bet you'd like to see that startup disclaimer go away, huh? I've that link another poster uggested to see all the stuff you can code with this app. You can download it for free and get a feel for it in demo mode. No car or obd plug needed for the demo.

I was thinking the same thing... Buckle the limes in for the odd time you have cargo up there.

It wasn't until I got on the freeway that they shifted a couple of inches and I got the 'bing... bing... bing...' |
