I tried to order my car from Bob Smith since they were claiming they don't charge over MSRP. However, when I tried to give them my order, they did not want it since it only had a few options.... They said they would like to order fully optioned customer cars... so I took my business elsewhere.... Steve Thomas BMW in Camarillo... MSRP... awesome buying experience.

What a bunch of A-holes.....I've been lucky....my 1st dealer wasn't bad and stated they sell M3's for MSRP just like all of their BMW's since the owner doesn't believe in markups....but they didn't have an allocation so I switched to another dealer that did....they initially wanted $1k over MSRP....but I offered MSRP and they took it....
If you were gonna buy an M3 thats been sitting on their lot for a while...then I would expect a healthy discount....
