Tyres for 320i
Hi guys had a puncture yesterday in my rear left Bridgestone runflat , managed to get it repaired but there is not much life left in them so thinking of swapping out for normal tyres . I know it has been discussed before and the general consensus is the PS4s but given the price and me only having the poor relation 320i , will it be worth it ? I am also looking at the Conti sports 6 and also the Hankook ventus evo 2 , i am on 19" btw .

Of course it's worth it. Even if you can't put down the power you'd have a tyre that handles better and outshines the Bridgestone in many respects. If the Michellin are not in range then I'd say the Hankooks. Ditch the run flats. If you get rid of run flats there is a world open to you of choices.
On an old E92. I went Uniroyal RS3. For that price compared to a run crap I could afford to replace the entire set twice. Better lifespan as well. |

My attitude is to always put the best tyres on that I can.
Fuck all use saving money by fitting the cheapest chinese tyres if you end up dead in a ditch. |

I got the Vredestein Ultrac vorti for my 320i - non run flats so the ride has improved greatly (on 18"'s here). Very good grip in wet and dry - ok not PS4 level but 2/3 of price but still close enough to them.
They are still a quality tyre and far better than the Pirelli run flats that were on it...! Hankooks would be another option as well. |

Sorry have no pics and don't have car any more although I did a thread last year, with some pictures, about changing to non run flats. Edit: type in the search hankooks tyres. Pics are there. Hope this helps. |
