hahaha. They design for all different cars and they all look the same. It's more of function over form

Context: This is coming from a dude who installed aftermarket mechanical and electromechanical gauges on the following vehicles:
- '74 VW beetle
- '02 MkIV GTi
- '06 Mini Cooper
- '09 WRX (I even custom-designed a single-DIN pod for dual 49mm gauges that I had a third party manufacture)
- '99 and '00 Suzuki SV650 (Yes, that's a motorcycle)

In this day and age of OBD-II feeds to smartphone apps, OEM-look in-dash digital gauges, and multifunctional "secret menus", this makes about as much sense in a European consumer luxury car as an Accu-gauge tach with the optional gigantic red incandescent shift light ... mounted on the hood.

Pass.

Hell for $50 you can buy a HUD that links to OBD port to tell you whatever you want to know.

Well i think water temp on the left, and Oil temp on the other would make this proper!

HUD and smartphones are lame. They are hokey hack add-ons. These won't interfere with the OBDII port, such as the JB4 that need's direct unfettered CANBUS access.

Realize I don't really want this. I just thought it would be fun to post it up for the crowd to enjoy.
