Connected Drive ain't connected anymore.

Got an m235i 2016. Connected Drive and Professional Services supposed to be active until somewhere in 2019 and all the connected services decided to stop working recently. Called BMW and verified that the account was active and my next step now is to call service to ping the car. Plus something about reseting the connection to the car.

Question is, can i reset this myself? It's kinda a pain getting someone on the phone.

Service centre will have to update your Connected Drive. We have also lost the 'internet' function in our Canadian cars, as far as I have seen.

Got resolution in the end. It wasn't the dealership, they set everything properly. It wasn't the car. It was BMW Canada that had to fix it. They had to create a new account and setup everything from scratch. Couldn't get the original account working.

Can't tell if it was a wide spread problem or not, but all is well again. They even got my BMW remote app working along the way.

Eventually that was the solution for myself as well. When they reset my account it fixed the connected drive issues.

What is the minimum functionality you should have with connected drive? (2016 model and I don't have navigation)

With the remote app I can log in but I don't have any functions. Nothing under status or remote.

Pics of your menu would help.
