Hi all-the stealers replaced my bmw professional stereo due to pixels missing-now whenever I get a call the other person cannot hear me?-any thoughts?-thanks

Take it back.
Checking the microphone is a good first step.

The radio has to coded for the options in your car.
Are you saying a BMW dealer did this?
They should no better.
Also you can get the pixels repaired on the original radio
for less the 200 bucks and 100 for the pixel repair kit if you
have some basic skills.

Thanks guys-yes bmw main dealer replaced it-yes I can hear the person calling me -its just they cannot hear me-dealer said try deleting all contacts then re-installing/pairing the phone again-I only have an android phone but it worked before the installation.

Take it back and have them fix it, they did not code the radio correctly or did not plug something back in. Deleting contacts and re-pairing the phone probably won't do much. If it is an older car and they installed newer radio it might be that the pinouts changed somewhere along the production run.

Sad that the forum community is more informed and knowledgeable that the dealers.
