Hellacious Smell In Cabin

My 2010 E90, with 141k has been the BEST car I've ever owned. Maximum pleasure and minimum cost.

Recently, the cabin fills with a horrible, acrid chemical smell after breaking and turning or braking and stopping. I just had the oil filter assembly gasket replaced and the engine bay is clean as a whistle.

The smell is so bad I have to roll down the windows.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Guy

it could be windshield washer fluid spilling over on hot side chargepipe. I had the same issue when i would hit a bump or do really sharp turns, the washer fluid will leak onto the chargepipe and it would smell like chemicals... might be the same problem you're having.
