Hi there

I've used these guys twice now to move a set of alloys and some BMW dealership signs, Simpson Transport on 01723 378051. They have been spot on both times, they wrap the wheels individually in blankets then strap them down. Wheels arrived in Devon from Yorkshire and they were totally unmarked. They also communicate very well with both the person shipping and the receiver at the other end, can't recommend them enough. Price for wheels couriered was around £70

Just sent some alloys through MyHermes courier service on line at less than £10 per wheel including insurance. Must be under 15kg in weight so will need to send as seperates packages but will take very little time to book it on line.

I used Paisley Freight to ship a set of winter wheels/tyres down to the South West and had no issues. You do need to wrap the wheels well, though.

I use Parcel2go.com

put in 5x items at 15kg each, dimensions of 60xm x 60cm x 40cm which is coming out at circa £42 with DPD drop off or just under £50 for a traditional collection service

I used paisley freight also. Think it was £70 for 4 x 18" alloys with tyres insured to £2000

No problems at all.

I've just sent 5 18" wheels with tyres to spain (from UK) parcel2go were the cheapest.
I think hermes would have been cheapest if it was UK to UK

Depends where you're moving them and from where, your post had very little details. If it's between cities within UK between which many people move around frequently, you can search on fb or something like it for people who travel on their own or usually carpool and use the spare space in their luggage compartment and back seats, shouldn't be too expensive or difficult to find. However when it comes to international deliveries, better be pricy or unique wheels, won't be worth it otherwise, for such cases go along with freight forwarder, they'll pick up from your home and deliver using same UPS/DHL/TNT/Whatever services to where it needs to be. Hope I could help.
