Finally got rid of the pea shooter!

So fitted the M Sport twin exhaust tip this morning and I have to say I am delighted! It's a bastard of a job to cut the old exhaust though. Angle grinder or jigsaw wouldn't fit in the working space, so had to do it by hand with a hacksaw blade. 1 hour later and several shredded knuckles! The part is a spot on fit and works perfectly with the twin pipe diffuser.

I did wonder, but there is no way to change where they are. The diffuser and pipe are both genuine so I guess it is what it is.

Looks much better!

Might be silly question but why didn't you release the exhaust from the hangars so you could easily cut it with an angle grinder?

Not an easy job
I got a reciprocating air saw for the job,the time I did mine. Only for that, I think the pipe would have been dropped off

Looks a massive improvement well done. Despite mine having the 330d twin pipes, I quite like the carbon fibre wrapped ones you see, often on m3s... :

Anyone know if these will be an easy job for 318d LCI? it's not listed for my car but have seen others do it, but wondering if it's actually for that car too? or if it's just shoe-horn fit?
