only to drop the wife off at the pub ! so just a couple of miles

yes fitted myself its not that difficult. Took 6 hours on my own, but that incuded cleaning and sealing the barrels of my wheels and lunch break !
what suprised me was how lose all the bolts where except the rear wishbone and shock absorber bolts they where as tight as f@#k !!

I wouldn't have a clue how to fit them, I wouldn't feel comfortable trying it, do you need any special tools?

That's the nice thing about doing suspension on a new car like these! Doimg it on 10+ year old Vauxhalls back in my boy racer days was a different matter!

not really, spring compressors, 10mm13mm 16mm 18mm 21mm socket E20 and E18 torq socket a jack and and axel stand. and 3 cups of tea and a cheese sandwich!!

So gutted I didn't do mine myself - Everyone I spoke to said you need special BMW tools

I also got a ton of abuse from another forum when I service my E60 M5 myself
