Hi there,
Thought I'd sign up and say hello. Have just ordered a 340i Touring with the following spec:

White
Black Dakota Leather
Brushed Aluminium/Black Gloss trim
M Sport Plus pack with 19" 403M wheels, adaptive suspension and Icon adaptive lights
Interior Comfort Pack
Pro Media Plus Pack
Model/Trim Designation Deletion
Panoramic Sunroof
Folding Mirrors
Electric Seats
Lumbar Support
Rear seat heating
Rear folding headrests
Comfort Access
Speed Limit Display

This is our first brand new car, so I'm hoping we've covered all the bases! - not too fussed about reverse cameras, self parking and all the lane change warning etc, so left out those packages. Anything that anyone can think we might have missed, please do let me know, as I dont think it's locked in yet!!

Will be coming over from an M135i and can't wait for the bit of extra room that the 340i is going to give us.

I'm toying with the idea of having the MPPK added and am just waiting for a price back from the dealers. I've seen a few threads around saying anywhere from £2k to around £3k, but these were quite old threads now. Anyone had one done recently who would care to share their thoughts/price?!

Welcome. Nice sounding car. Agree on the lane change etc, but would recommend rear camera - especially coming from a 1'er

£2k on the nose is the going rate for mppsk at Coopers Reading. I had mine done earlier this year

Thanks - Rear parking sensors are more than good enough - I drive a van for work without a rear view mirror or parking sensors just fine

Did you have your car without the MPPK first? Do you think it's worth the money?

Nice! F31 340i is nigh on perfect!

If you don't fancy the 2k for the mppk I can recommend a tuning box which does give a big lift in power.

Yeah I had it without. It's pricey but worth it for me definitely plus keeps your warranty.

Power gives a nice little kick, but mostly I found it just behaves better.. picks up quicker and just wants to go..
The biggest difference is the exhaust.. that's a beast

Yeah, fresh factory order - order with dealer placed on 5th May. What's week 27 classed as, as that would be around July on a normal calendar?

That's correct. Worth checking with your dealer, should have a 7 digit factory order number by now starting with a 4. You can then track build via the online BMW genius

I ordered my F30 335d two weeks ago for September delivery, should i expect this update on mine?

Depends on build week, wk 27 is when the MSport + pack is discontinued and replaced by the Shadow Edition
