Noise at start up N54

Hey guys,

I recently started hearing a noise at start up. It sounds like a rubbing noise from the belt. This is after I replaced a front strut the past weekend. Nothing appears to be rubbing and the belt looks fine. It goes away once the car is warm. I found a video that sounds like my issue. Has anyone had this before?

lol, confirmed it was the belt tensioner.

As in you had to replace it, or it is normal? I had my belt and tensioner replaced a few month ago and I hear this noise sometimes on cold start.

Hey man,

Yes, I swapped out my belt tensioner and belt and the noise went away. It was surprisingly really easy to do.
