please identify which CD player this is...

Hi all

my 2/2009 build E90 335i has this CD player installed, but I can't work out the model number as I need to replace it (as surprise, surprise, it doesn't work properly!)

I checked on realoem but none of the images seemed to look like this.

I have the 'widescreen' navigation if that's any clue.

thanks

Is it a separable unit from the rest of the Professional Navigation system?

It's just that it doesn't play CDs (as they skip despite several cleaning attempts)

The CIC unit's DVD player can be removed, I've taken a CIC unit apart and the DVD drive is a contained unit that can be removed and replaced if you had a spare.

65839273195 is the replacement DVD drive unit for CCC but not sure if its compatible with CIC or not. Several ebay listings for 65839273195 say it works with CIC as well but not sure as I have never needed to install one.

I found this on Realoem:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=65_2033

But it's not listing a part number as it says: No Parts Match Your Car..which seems a bit odd as I have entered my 7 digit serial number..

Thats the CICM (Navigation business) which is the narrow display unit and not fitted to your car
