New front pads......£433?

I called Sytner today for a price for some new front pads on my 430D. £433 but that does include a guarantee! I ended the call quickly.

Series 9 quoted £188 a few minutes later.

What sort of price have others got?

No just the standard pads.

The girl was clearly aware that she was taking the piss as she did ask if I had got quotes elsewhere and if so what price?

No I told her it was just pads.

Not a chance either that she would do the discs and pads for £433 !

Part of the reason I fell out with Eastern BMW was the high cost of replacement pads and discs. Also the fact that they told me they needed replaced when in fact, checked by an independent, there was many miles left.

Was that from Euro Car Parts, I don't suppose you have a product code do you please, can't use VIN as car didn't come with M Sport brakes originally. Cheers

Here you go. I also bought these and paid £56 for fitting. Will see what BMW have to say while they do my second service next week. (While I borrow their M4 for a few days).

Cheaper from ECP's sister site carparts for less, plus there's usually some discount codes available on the net:

Just checked and I did indeed pay £38. That first email I called up to get the product code showed the stock price I guess.
