Walking past my local dealer this evening and they had a 440i sitting outside, nice looking car with the M Performance body's kit but a price tag of £62k.

Who in their right mind would put £62k into that car. . That amount of cash could buy some other much more appealing metal.

Hahaha that's funny..... but I'm guessing they would move heavily on that price. Before ordering a new loaded 440 with a stack of M Performance stuff I was negotiating on an pre-reg individual (Grigio Telesto + Opal white) 440i that had all the Performance stuff and it was £48k with 13 miles on the clock. In the end even at that price a new car with even mor stuff was cheaper!!!

Oh, and Sytner Nottingham has a used 1M up for sale for £75k, I laughed my ass off.

It's not on their website. Hopefully it's a mistake or just blind optimism. It's Ferrari red so guess that adds a few quid for a start.

I think they do this on the off chance a numpty with more money than sense goes by and also to make the brand seem more expensive. If you see a 440 with a price like this then start a conversation about one inside they can try and tell you what a great deal you are getting with 4k off list, £500 extra if you test drive it etc Usual bollox.

Without the bodykit and 20" alloys that specs up at over £48K on the BMW configurator. Individual paint is over £2K and that's Individual leather (not Dakota as per the ad)

Clearly the sales team forgot to take down after 12pm on the 1st April... Jeees if people actually come to close to buying cars at that price I may have to start up a dealership!
