I have got standard halogen headlights on my 2009 E90 with manual light leveller next to the light switch. When the car is parked in an open space like there is nothing on the front for yards, I see the lights elevate themselves when turned on or when i change the light level from that switch. I replaced all the 4 front headlight bulbs today and since then, the manual leveler switch doesn't work at all.

Any idea what to look for ?

It should adjust when you turn the wheel, the lights follow. Make sure all the levelers under the car are connected, pull a light and double check the adjusters for anything that could of popped off while installing.
