Some might remember me from E90post.... ?

Golf R is going back and I've missed the retrofits, so I've just got hold of a F31 M Sport 328i... pretty rare as this engine seems to be over looked in the UK!



Anyway, now time for the retrofits!

In terms of goodies... the car is lacking - heated leather & front parking sensors only.

So the plans - all oem parts

> NBT - FSC codes (no more emulators)
> DAB - not much info on this, I know it's not possible on the E91 as the wiring antenna is in the bumper.... but it looks like the F31s have the antenna in the screen?
> Reversing camera
> Power folding mirrors

Now need to learn to code the Fxx.... just when I've mastered the NCSexpert etc... BMW change the tools!

How did you find the Golf R Jammy?

Loved the R - not only was it fast but the handling is unbelievable.

I was going to buy 1 (so I can do some retrofits) but I thought in real life driving when did I get to use the power - hardly ever! You feel/look like a d1ck flooring it from the lights & all other times, you're in traffic or risk getting 6+ points!

My review of ownership - basically it looks like a golf & you have to drive it like a golf! Loved it for the few seconds a month when I could safely floor it.


Ps R to the F31, might be a strange move.... but it's going to be the misses car! Not sure what I'm going to get.
