I am moving from Baltimore to Longview mid May and am looking for some fellow e90ers. I know Dallas and Austin are very active, but who's way out in East Texas??

Tyler is a decent place. I don't participate in CCA. I am not sure if there is any of that around.

Our local CCA chapter (National Capital) is very active, so I'll miss that. I've heard that every once in a while the Dallas chapter (Lone Star) sponsors a drive in East Texas. Anyway, what are the places to go to in Tyler for food, drinks, etc?

Obviously there isn't as much around here as the DFW area. However, there are a lot of food and drink choices. There is a new Buffalo Wild Wings that is a great spot for a group of car guys looking for a place with food, drink, and plenty of sports on the tv.

Whenever you want to meet up for some beers, let me know. Perhaps others will see our Bimmers parked outside and join in. BTW, had some service at Mike Pile and they were awesome. Far better than the DC/MD dealers.

I hear you. It's pretty hot so far. I am glad that there are several BMW's driving around Longview...BTW, I am a cardiology physician assistant (PA).

But of course...although her Barbera coupe is gorgeous. There's nothing like the 335 though. Unfortunately (or fortunately - not sure yet) we both have xi's. Hey, do you have a tint shop recommendation for my wife? She's nervous about how they'll tint the back window over the dot matrix.

Yeah, probably won't be a need for the all wheel drive too often down here. I don't have any tint recommendations. I have been asking around lately also. I am probably going to call the dealership and see who they use. I am also a little nervous about the back window. It will be a little difficult for them to get to it. I know some people here in Tyler that always use Mitch's Car Audio.

Nope. My wife and her 328 are still in MD. She'll be looking for a tint shop probably next month. There's a place in Longview that looks like a place I'll call. I keep forgetting to ask Brent at Mike Pile.
