Good time to replace steering wheel?

Finally received the info on the airbag recall. My e92 is just about to turn 100,000k and was wondering if this is a good time to replace the steering wheel and if yes, any suggestions on best style replacement wheel?

the m-tech/m3 wheel is cool. It takes the same canister as the sport wheel. I see you have the e92, all e92 are fitted with the sport wheel (and accordingly with the m3 compatible airbag)

Not heard of anyone replacing a steering wheel at certain miles. That thing must be really really warped and worn out.

I have a E92 SE.
Although the SE wheel is crap it does share the same airbag as the Msport and M3 wheel.
I swapped the wheel for a Msport version.
Would like a M3 wheel but the price jump from the Msport is silly.
