Comfort Access inop on driver's door

Hi All, I wonder if anyone can shed some insight my way.
I have comfort access on my E90 sedan that used to work normally. For the last month it doesn't work on the drivers door. It does work on the pass door still.
I wonder if anyone has had this; is it just a bad handle sensor?
No CEL or SAS lights.
Car is headed to Stealership this Friday for other stuff; I was planning to have them check it out. Can't find answers in forum search so though I'd ask.

Thanks

Battery on your keyfob may be low......how well do the lock and unlock buttons work? Also if the car battery is low some non vital systems will be turned off.

There's a possibility that the handle itself may have failed too.

How do you distinguish Comfort Access handle problem versus door actuator problem?
