Windscreen Wipers

Just thought I'd ask where people are buying their replacement windscreen wiper blades and what type / brand they use?

Not even going to bother trying the BMW dealership as I can't imagine how much they'd Charge

Car is 2015 pre LCI F30 335d saloon

Thanks!

I tried some Michelin ones from Costco as they were less than a tenner. Unbeatable value for money at that and pretty decent, but not quite as good as the BMW OEM ones, so went back to them last time.

Might be worth looking on ebay for them as bound to be someone selling them for cheaper than BMW dealers.

Replaced mine yesterday with Bosch ones from eurocarparts. 30% off at the moment too although ecp's sales are a bit like DFS

Last time I replaced mine, I used the Bosch Aero blades purchased off ebay. Paid £20.00.

Did try bmw out of curiosity and was quoted £60.00 (last year).

Valeo are the ones to get, they make the BMW ones, but these are half the price & don't have the ugly bulky fittings like the Bosch ones:

Another +1 for Valeo, as good as the ones that came fitted from the factory.

Anyone had any joy getting wipers for their F36/f32?

I've had a good look and can't seem to find a Valeo front kit for my car anywhere.

Got some Bosch A930s recently and in the 1 day of rain we had other week they seemed to squeak and drag. Not impressed.
Any one had this issue with Bosch wipers?
Looking at replacement Valeo now.

Bought an unbranded pair from Bremmer Automotive off eBay.

Good clean wipe from the first wipe. Silent, smooth and look ok. £10 for the pair delivered. At that price I can live with them not lasting long, but we'll see how they go though.

Try pasting this in an eBay search and looking at the results..

27 dollars for the set and they replace them free of charge if you ship them back to them once they are worn.

Garage List
Bought some from Halfrauds for the missus 530gt

Bosch ones. They fit fine, although the passenger side one is about 10mm shorter each end. Doesn't make any difference to effectiveness at all.

Only thing that's annoying me is the OEM ones have the plastic cover over the pivot pin, so you can't see it at all when fitted.

The Bosch ones the pin is exposed. Doesn't look bad, just not the same as OEM.

Halfords cost for the pair was £38

Dealer cost is about £50 from memory.

When mine on the 6 need doing, I'll just get OEM

When I had the F30 I replaced the OEM blades with Bosch...they were fine up until I had the car detailed and a Glyeon coating applied to the windscreen, after that the blades would shudder and squeak in anything but an all out down pour. I ended up going back to the Valeo blades and they were absolutely fine with the coating on the windscreen.
