Friend of mine has 2 year old LR and used local garage to do oil change. I'm unsure whether they were able to reset the service log monitor.

He didn't realise he had service pack with LR!

Any views on whether he should take it to LR and get service redone, or is it too late for affecting warranty? I'm assuming it may be easier if computer wasn't reset to show service had been done.

I'd chuck it in and pled ignorance. I doubt the indie touched the service log.

I would also politely ask why no reminder or courtesy call was made to remind him his service was due

(Okay last one is a bit of a blag lol ).
