Extended Warranty/Maintenance suggestions

Hey guys! My 2014 M235i is at 42k miles and I am planning to keep it and extend the warranty and or maintenance if it makes sense.

I contacted two dealers and both of them gave me quotes for maintenance and warranty.

Maintenance covers brake pads, rotors, engine oil, filters, wiper blades, spark plugs, brake fluid, and mainly CLUTCH. (see attached document)

Warranty has three levels, Platinum (best), Gold, and Powertrain Plus. These cover any sudden breakdown of the parts each package includes. I felt Gold was better for the price while powertrain plus did not cover many gaskets, HVAC, brakes, and steering. (see attached document)

None of them cover suspension wear and tear or warranty. Their prices are the same and they tell me these are BMW prices.

Why would clutch go at 75k miles? I don't know much about BMW clutches but my buddies clutch in his SI lasted close to 200k miles. I haven't replaced clutches in my S2000 and Nissan either

I'm interested in this myself. Just picked up a CPO 14 with a year of maintenance left, thinking about extending that for brakes.. I got the CPO warranty through 2020 which is awesome.

My pricing at least for the maintenance was almost identical.

Update:

I contacted 3rd party agencies like Delta Auto Protect, Warranty Direct, AA Auto Protection, and many more. They were all much more than what BMW was offering for lesser terms.

I spoke to Jeff at Passport BMW, a couple of dealers locally, and Jim Martinez at Steve Thomas BMW, CA.

Jim offered the best rates with the best flexibility and I went ahead with him.
